How do I know it’s really Tasmanian Collection Service contacting me?

We are conscious that customers should remain vigilant in ensuring they are dealing with the right people (particularly if you receive contact that is unexpected).

When we contact you, our calls will be from one of the following number ranges:

(03) 6213 5580 (Hobart)
(03) 6332 1380 (Launceston)
(03) 6430 3780 (Burnie)

All SMS messages we send will appear from our SMS number 0400979501.

All written correspondence will have the TCS letter head, and will be postmarked from Hobart, Tasmania.

The communication will contain details about who the money is owed to, how much is overdue, and your TCS account reference number.

If in doubt ask for your TCS Reference number and call us back!

How can I pay my account?

If you’re in a position to pay the debt now, you can log on to the customer portal and pay using EziDebit or BPay – its that easy.

If you are unable to pay the debt in full, you may be able to set up a payment arrangement using the Direct Debit option in the customer portal. This will assist you to make regular, achievable repayments on your account. Of course if you would like to discuss these options, one of our team will be happy to assist or take your payment over the phone. Just call (03) 6213 5580.

What if I can’t pay?

Life is filled with ups and downs, and we totally understand that. The important thing to remember is not to ignore it and hope it goes away.
